Stylistic exercises

This spectacle will never happen again. This is simply mathematically impossible.

What Happened on the S-Line City Bus? What kind of story you get depends on who tells it. And how. The creators of the play “Stylistic Exercises” have 99 ways to do this. Comically or tragically, erotically or richly? Which ones will be played in a given evening will be decided by the eager audience and fate.

Mastery of style, finesse and wit will make up a unique composition, and the audience will be treated to a daring, humorous fun with language and theatrical conventions. Get on this somewhat crazy bus with us, in which we open a workshop of a potential theater.

The play, directed by Eva Rysova, is a tribute to imagination and diversity. The script is based on Raymond Queneau's iconic “Stylistic Exercises” in France, a literary experiment that inspires creators around the world.

Note, in one of the scenes that can be drawn and appear in the performance of a given day, strobe lights are used.

The show [...] totally captures the attention of the viewer, who is not only curious about the next scene, but also fascinated by the skill of the actor. At the end of the show, there is a certain lack of satisfaction - the viewer has a great time, but both he and the actors have to be prepared for everything. You can calmly watch a couple of performances and each time the fun will be extraordinary.

“Stylistic exercises” captivate with a form that was not there before, with the driving power of the viewer, with a rollercoaster of emotions — but above all, it is two hours of observation and surprises from the stage, that it is possible.

On Wednesday I took the third rehearsal of “Stylistic Exercises”. I must admit that for the third time I was convinced of their value. This performance is fun, and with this full contact with the audience, we have everything we expect from the theater.
