Gypsy in Polish. Life is a song

The song likes to be sung. I invited actors of the Polish Theatre to the world of my songs. When they sing familiar songs, they give them their faces, when they sing new ones, they give them their souls. This evening will bring extraordinary performances and surprising interpretations. I announce that I will want to involve the audience in singing together — have you ever heard your voices under the sky of the Polish Theatre? To encourage you, dear viewers, I will sing it myself. So I invite you to a song evening that, I hope, will squeeze some people's throats, entertain others, and make everyone sing. Jacek Gygan

Life is a song, a song is life — it has its own history, its turns of fate and its private past. It also happens that the winged woman begins to lead an independent life and falls into the memory of generations. Jacek Cygan, an excellent artist of the word, has many such works in his creative output. I thank him for accepting the invitation to the Polish Theatre, where we will be able to sing together a solid piece of the history of Polish song — wise, full of wit, delightful in its lightness of phrase and uncommonness of associations.
