💚 Event financed by the Citizen Budget.

We will create, move, discover, try new things and enjoy the autumnal atmosphere of the Gypsy Forest. Animations, circus challenges, soap bubbles, face painting and toads await the youngest, and there will also be plenty of attractions for the older ones.
And when will it get darker? We stay together — at 18:00 we invite you to the open-air cinema and the film “Kiler”! 🎬🍿

⏰ Start of the main part of the event: 14:00
🌳 Gypsy Forest/integration area of the Council of Osiedle Mikuszowice Śląskie for MDK Olszówka

🥔 WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

🎨 Artistic workshops — conducted by instructors of MDK Olszówka, Książnica Beskidzka and Leśna Acicia.

Forest Aunt will create a workshop and educational stand.
Potato stamps will be waiting for the participants of the event. Everyone will be able to create their own potato composition and take it home with them. In addition, we will offer to make a funny potato character — “Skrobinson”:)

If weather conditions permit, as part of the movement activation we can prepare a potato obstacle course inspired by hockey — instead of a puck, a potato will be used.

In the educational part, we planned a presentation of different potato varieties and a photo gallery showing the traditional excavation process. Thanks to this, participants will be able not only to spend time creatively, but also to learn more about potatoes and traditional ways of harvesting them.

🥾 Before the main part of the Gypsy Potato begins, let's go on an autumn trip together! 🍂🌳
Excursion to Kozia Góra — “Safe Trail with GOPR Rescuers”.

This is an educational trail dedicated to safety in the mountains, which begins in the Gypsy Forest and leads towards Goat Mountain — first the yellow hiking trail, then the blue one to the top.
On the route there are 10 educational stations prepared by rescuers of the Beskidz Group GOPR. Each of them addresses a different issue related to safe movement in the mountains — from planning a trip, preparing a backpack and assessing weather conditions, to providing first aid and calling for help, to the principles of safe trail sharing by pedestrians and cyclists.

⏰ Start: 10:00
📍 Collection: integration area of the Mikuszowice Śląskie Estate Council — for MDK Olszówka
