About the event

We invite you to a unique meeting with one of the most famous and beloved comic operas in the world — “Cyrulik of Seville” by Gioacchino Rossini.

Full of brilliant humor, extraordinary energy and virtuoso vocal parts, the story of the clever Figaro, the beautiful Rozyna and the enamored Count Almaviva has delighted the audience for generations.

On this year's New Year's Eve, our Orchestra, together with the wonderful Soloists, will perform for you on stage, presenting a concert version of this work. We invite you to an evening full of humor, love, intrigue and musical virtuosity.

The opera by Gioacchino Rossini, based on the comedy by Pierre Beaumarchais, tells about the love of Count Almaviva for the beautiful Rosina, who is under the care of Dr. Bartolo. The girl loves her admirer, but her supervisor does not intend to give her back — moreover, he wants to marry her to take her dowry, and therefore tries to prevent her from contacting the Count. In the capture of his beloved, Almaviva is helped by the cunning Cyrulik Figaro. Thanks to his ideas, the Count disguises himself and gets into Bartolo's house by deception. Eventually, Almaviva and Rozyna confess their love and get married, and Bartolo's plans are thwarted.

Let yourself be carried away by the extraordinary world of Rossini and see that the story of the clever Figaro can still entertain and delight! During New Year's Eve, during the break of the concert, we will invite you to a snack and a glass of champagne to start the New Year's countdown together.
