How has it changed over the centuries how we pay for goods and services? What is a coin and does it always have to be round and flat? What do shells and salt have to do with money? You will find out the answers to these and other questions during the Sunday guided tour for families with children.
Using lugs, we will look together at the wealth of representations on numismatics, look into a leather pouch, hold coinage stamps in hand, and finally see the weight of money — literally and figuratively. Going back in time, we will feel like real mints or collectors.
Classes designed for children from 6 to 10 years old.
