“Black Sheep, White Raven” is a show about a tumultuous adolescence — about an emotional volcano that doesn't ask for consent before it erupts. It is a story about a sense of misunderstanding, about helplessness that affects not only young people, but also adults close to them. A feisty and at the same time affectionate story about finding your own way, the desire to belong and discovering your own uniqueness.

About the event

Is it possible to be a white raven and a black sheep in one body?

“Black Sheep, White Raven” is a show about a tumultuous adolescence — about an emotional volcano that doesn't ask for consent before it erupts. It is a story about a sense of misunderstanding, about helplessness that affects not only young people, but also adults close to them. A feisty and at the same time affectionate story about finding your own way, the desire to belong and discovering your own uniqueness.

The main character, who calls herself Rotten, wants to be someone special — like many. However, in his efforts, he inadvertently closes himself off from the world. She cannot understand why others do not share her passion and way of looking at reality. Because although she wants to be different, she also wants to belong, to have her “herd”. This conflict — the need to stand out and blend into the group at the same time — is the everyday life of every teenager.

The show also addresses the topic of loss and emotions that arise after the death of a loved one. What kind of defense mechanisms do we activate? How to deal with pain and loneliness? These are questions that concern young people and adults alike. That is why we look not only at the plight of Rotten, but also the helplessness of her mother, older sister, teacher or old outsider gardener.

This is a spectacle for those who have ever felt different. And for those who tried to understand them.
