The touring festival, which was created and developed exclusively as a result of grassroots initiatives, in 2026 will visit more than forty towns throughout Poland — including Tarnowskie Góry. The partners of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights — co-organizers of the touring festival in individual cities — select films from the repertoire of the last edition of the Warsaw IFF WATCH DOCS.

A film about a future that is already becoming a fact. When sea levels rise enough for water to flood her home, Lokhi joins a host of climate refugees who fill the streets of Bangladesh's capital. He quickly finds a sleeping corner and starts looking for work. The stories of people like her are described by the film's second heroine, a journalist, trying to draw the public's attention to the real threat. It is estimated that over the next few years, at least 30 million refugees will arrive in Bangladesh, whose homes will disappear under water. Most of them, like Lokhi, will also go to Dhaka - the fastest growing city in the world, which in the lens of Spanish filmmakers becomes a full-fledged protagonist of this film. The slums where the new residents of the city find a haven, are adjacent to spectacular, modern architecture. But the future here is the color of storm clouds. Oversized skyscrapers entwined with highway overpasses in torrents of incessant rain bring to mind dark footage from “Android Hunters”.
