About the event

Very high in the Himalayas is a unique hotel. Mountain refuge for stray migratory animals, sedentary species and domesticated creatures. The director of the hotel is Yeti, and the deputy director is his curious daughter.

The show is about adventures, but also about growing up, changes in the way of perceiving others, relationships with family and friends, the terms of which we have to constantly negotiate. This is, first and foremost, a story about empathy.

In a theatrical adaptation, the Yetich Hotel is “a mountain refuge for stray migratory animals and sedentary creatures.” Yetinka begins to ask her father difficult questions, and he wants to protect her daughter from a dangerous world. Yetinka, meanwhile, is getting older, she understands more and more, so her dad has to modify his way of looking at her. Their relationship also changes and begins to function on new principles. In search of answers to the questions that bother her, Yetinka embarks on a mountain expedition. She is accompanied by her friend Snake, followed by the intriguing Kawia (the guinea pig) and the very nervous, eager to fulfill the tasks entrusted to him, the Dog.

In the play, Yetinka and her companion animals experience adventures among mountain peaks and snowdrifts, but above all they learn to talk to each other and confront what is difficult for them.
