W.S.K — brutally lyrical rock'n'roll musicians from Rzeszów, whose style is insanely melodic

and delicious as dumplings with broken glass, a combination of hard boogie, punk rock and heavy metal. W.S.K's lyrics are social satire, ironic description of reality and absurd wit, which combined with energetic music results in a thunderous, hard-to-categorize concert explosive mixture. For over 30 years on the scene,

with a host of dedicated Psychophanes, whose ranks grow with each concert and who

with joyful frustration they are waiting for the premiere album of the band. Because, as one of them wrote: “W.S.K is the crank of the guests. Maybe the old, maybe the ugly, bang it...”!

EMpe50 is a band that emerged from the gloom of the Rzeszów underground in 2024 to charge the stage with raw energy. Their debut album is a lyrical reckoning with the past, which went straight to the hearts of listeners, and the circulation spread in the blink of an eye. The success was so great that each of their singles topped the list of the “Podkarpackie Hit Scene”. On the other hand, the performance at the festival in Cieszanów proved that their strong message and unique sound work just as strongly live as in the studio.

Words heavier than riff, stronger than scream!

Is it possible to speak in rhythm, think in rhyme and smile through a word? Yes, and the best proof is EMpe50!

It's not just a band, it's a spoken word — an intellectual commentary on reality, an expression balancing between brilliant humor, cool observation and poetic reflection. On their debut album, you can hear a clash of naive, youthful rhymes with a deep, mature message. All this is decorated with music that combines polite Bieszczady guitars with raw, expressive rock and punk.

You won't find opera here and you won't hear rap, and yet they will leave behind a melody that sticks in your mind and stays on for a long time. EMpe50 is a verbal performance that moves, often disarms, and always gets right to the point. On stage — only they, instruments, microphone and words that have more power than many guitar riffs.

Cztery Kilo Obywatela is stationed in Żurawica near Przemyśl. It brings together musicians from the region and consists of a postman, a 112 operator, a baker and a customs officer.

Since 2012, the band has been sewing ska-punk with reggae admixtures, and has presented their music live on the stages of many festivals and reviews in Poland and abroad, including: Chełmstock Festival, Cieszanów Rock Festival, Rock na Bagnie, Fortmissia Festival (UA), Dębica Dębicy Festival, Movie Cities Festival — Jelenia Góra, Rzeszowski Przegląd Autorski RZowski EPA and others... The band also became known in local and national media, e.g. at the successful main casting of the 2nd edition of Must Be the Music program on TV Polsat (as ex Joke). He is associated with the Szczecin label Jimmy Jazz Records, with which, in 2012 — still under the name Joke Ferajna — they released their debut album “XXI century”. The next full-length album is 2014's “Wychowany na Trzepaku”, promoted by the singles: 'Welcome to the new old Poland' and 'Trzęcej čas na krawat', for which the band recorded their first professional music videos. Two years later, the LP “It's Not True” was released. In 2018, the band recorded the EP “Miraculous Center” with their own sumpt. Selected 4KO tracks appear on Jimmy Jazz Records' “Lead Me Ulico”. In the autumn of 2024, the band recorded and filmed another single “Przemyśl to”, which is a tribute to the hometown and a collection of memories and sentimental excursions from the crappy times. The name of the band refers to the film “The Bear”, by Stanisław Barea and is an expression of great inspiration from the Master's achievements in his picturesque commentary on absurd reality. The team seeks to continue and record contemporary observations in its text layer.
