Czwartki u Sleńdziński: Promotion of Anna Sołbut's poetry book “The Name of the Wind”

Anna Sołbut is a member of the Union of Polish Writers, the Association of Polish Authors and the Literary Teachers' Club in Białystok. Her poems have been published in numerous poetry almanacs, in more than a dozen domestic and foreign anthologies and in numerous newspapers in Poland and abroad; they have also been presented on radio and television (among others in Italy and Greece). She is the winner of several awards, including Wiesław Kazanecki and the prize for the best book of the year at the International Poetry November in Poznań. Her work has been translated into Italian, Lithuanian, Greek, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Japanese and Esperanto. He is also the editor of poetry books and reviews.
To date, she has published collections of poems: Chwile (literary sheet, Białystok 1987) and volumes of poetry: Nie jest (Białystok 1991), Opening Silence (Białystok 1993), Jak Eurydyka (Biała Seria Poetycka, Poznań 1995), And became light (Świętojańska Poetic Series, Białystok 1997), Struggle for Day (Białystok 2002), Chords of Sleep (Białystok 2011), Mists (Białystok 2016), The Name of the Wind (Białystok 2026) and a fairy tale entitled Towards the Heart (Wydawnictwo A. Marszałek, Toruń 2018). Author of poetic reflections for the album of painting and graphics In the Limitless Moment by A. Ralickie-Perkowska. Co-author (together with J. Drozdowska and A. Ralicka-Perkowska) of Kajetów Starbojarski/NKL/entitled When Words Live.
