Places of armed conflict are increasingly found on travel maps. Dalia Mikulska and Tomasz Szerszeń will consider why we want to see spaces where wars have been and are being fought, and what we are actually looking for in such places. Can war tourism be a form of learning about history, or does it always carry the risk of simplifying human suffering?
