Curatorial lecture by Dr. Agata Stasińska accompanying the exhibition “Centulety. On the anniversary of the great exhibition of Silesian medieval art”
What did the medieval features look like? Was there a place for women? Why did the daughters and widows of the masters of painting have so many admirers? These and many other questions will be answered during the Sunday lecture on the issue of women in the artistic workshops of the Middle Ages. It will present the silhouettes of painters known from archival messages and their sometimes astonishing roles in the male-dominated artistic world of the time.
Meeting in the Pavilion of the Four Domes, free admission. If you have any questions, please contact the P4K Education Department: edukacja.pawilon@mnwr.pl or call 71 712 71 81.
