Purgatory (2D/original)

While visiting friends, Fulla Horak meets a woman whose unwavering faith in God impresses everyone. This encounter leaves its mark on Fulla and forces her to search spiritually and return to the values she rejected years ago. One night, Fulla, immersed in prayer, experiences a revelation. Magdalena Zofia Barat appears to her — the founder of the Congregation of the Sacred Heart, who died 70 years earlier. This is the first of the souls of the Holy Guardians who will haunt the mystic. Others, including John Bosco, Teresa of the Child Jesus or Joan of Arc, will discover before the woman an extraordinary knowledge of heaven, hell and purgatory. All these experiences Fulla will describe in her book “The Beautiful Lady” in the chapter “Afterlife”. And the wisdom contained in it will transcend time and space, combining into one the spiritual experiences of Fulla and the revelations of Saint Padre Pio, Blessed Father Stanisław Papczyński and Saint Faustina Kowalska.
