Dagny

Born in Tromsø, Norway, Dagny Norvoll Sandvik is an unstoppable force in pop. Her music
has been played more than a billion times, has been nominated for 7 Norwegian Grammys
(Spellemannprisen), co-wrote songs for Katy Perry, Ashnikko, and Julie Bergan, as well as
worked with such artists as Liverpool indie-rock heroes The Wombats,
American superproducer Steve Aoki, Norwegian stars Kygo, Astrid S and Seeb and
Spanish-English indie-pop band Crystal Fighters.
Dagna's debut album “Strangers/Lovers”, released in May 2020, confirmed her position
on stage, giving rise to the hit single “Somebody” with over 100 million plays on Spotify alone. The album received very good reviews: The Guardian (“a powerful explosion of synth-pop”),
The Independent (“dazzling pop — 8/10”), BBC Music (“one of the most confident
debuts of 2020”), Metro (“a neat, polished banger set — Album of the Week”) and
many others.
Mini-album “ELLE” was released in 2024. Another tantalizing snippet of her pop capabilities
received wide acclaim from The Independent, CLASH, The Line of Best Fit, NME, Dork
Magazine and others, capped by a spectacular sold-out concert at Oslo Spektrum
(10,000 seats).
The year 2025 is Dagna's intense tour of Europe and Norway, numerous performances as
headliner at Norwegian festivals and supporting role alongside Jess Glynne and Justin
Timberlake.
