About the event

Dan Whitlam is coming to Germany for three shows in autumn 2026. With his mix of spoken word, rap and emotional songwriting, the British artist is one of the most exciting new voices between alternative, pop and poetry.

Dan Whitlam first became known on TikTok, where he captures the lifestyle of his generation with great directness and a keen sense of language. His texts revolve around the uncertainties, contradictions and intimacies of growing up and thus strike a nerve far beyond social media. In the meantime, Dan Whitlam has long since made a name for himself live and inspires with performances that combine personal closeness and great stage presence. Releases such as “Satellite” with Julia Church and songs such as “Young Minds”, “Lights Down” and “Quick Intimacy” attracted additional attention. This shows his particular strength time and again: Dan Whitlam combines poetic language with catchy melodies and thus creates songs that are equally reflective, accessible and emotionally charged. Support from artists such as Fred Again.. and Arlo Parks underlines his growing position within the British music scene.

Dan Whitlam also consciously uses his voice beyond music. Among other things, he worked with Hermès as a resident poet and was part of the global YSL beauty campaign “Abuse is Not Love”, for which he developed and performed poetic texts based on real experience reports. His art is never simply staging, but always also an expression of an attitude that combines personal experience with social relevance.

This depth also shapes his own story. After being the victim of a knife attack as a teenager, Dan Whitlam repeatedly deals with violence, vulnerability and healing in his poetry and public work. It is precisely this openness that gives his music a particular intensity and makes him a voice that goes far beyond classic pop stories.

After sold-out UK shows, including concerts at renowned venues such as KOKO in Camden and his biggest headline show to date at the Roundhouse in London, Dan Whitlam also played international dates in Europe and the USA for the first time last year. What began online has long since reached the stages. The German shows in autumn 2026 feature an artist whose combination of language, emotion and presence is reaching ever larger spaces.
