Danish Music Awards Roots 2026

Let's talk! This year's award party, where the Danish roots music celebrates the genre's unique community and awards no less than 10 statuettes, will be held this year for the 6th year in a row — and this year, it is the second time that the red DMA carpet has been rolled out at Bremen Teater in Copenhagen. The host, line-up and nominees will be announced later, but already now we can reveal that two brand new awards will see the light of day when Bremen's doors open for the Danish Music Awards Roots on Thursday 26 November.

The fastest birds get the cheapest tickets -- until June 7, 2026, you can buy your ticket at a discount. Danish Music Awards Roots 2026 is organized by TEMPI - Roots Music Denmark, in collaboration with Bremen Teater, IFPI and with support from Statens Kunstfond.
