The Danish Entertainment Orchestra occupies the Concert Hall with the strong Danish voices: Jesper Binzer (D-A-D), Sofie Dopha, Mathias Ranch and Caroline Henderson to pay tribute to Kim Larsen's significant musical legacy.
From the legendary debut LP 'Værsgo' from 1973 to the 80's iconic 'Midt Om Natten' and 'ForSom Voksen' and on to almost 25 years of critically acclaimed record gold in the company of Kjukken - there is in every way a uniquely broad range of Danish music history, which tonight's soloists will have the opportunity to unfold and reinterpret.
“I am looking forward to interpreting songs by Kim Larsen together with the Danish Entertainment Orchestra,” says Caroline Henderson. “He was one of Denmark's greatest songwriters and personalities, who has left a deep and lasting imprint on our shared musical heritage.”
There will be both a community song and maybe a tear or two when the Danish Entertainment Orchestra gives their interpretations of the music of one of our most important and popular songwriters in Koncertsalen.
