Co-founder and member of numerous bands, among which we can mention groups characterized by such different stylistics as AlTango, Opium String Quartet, Atom String, Quartet or Bester Quartet, successful and widely recognized on the Polish and international music scene.

In 2018, he created his own band Dawid Lubowicz Quartet, whose greatest successes include the recording of the album Inside. The album received a nomination in the 2019 Fryderyka plebiscite (in the Jazz Album of the Year category), as well as the group leader himself (in the category Jazz Debut of the Year).

In 2022, he recorded in a duet with Christian Danowicz the album Stories, which contains original compositions created for two violins. These works have also been released in sheet music and are available on the publishing market.

In 2024, he released his third solo album Human Fate, on which he performs in the double role of violinist and mandolin player.

For many years he has collaborated as an arranger and composer with Roma Music Theatre and National Theatre in Warsaw, Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz and D. Baduszkowa Music Theatre in Gdynia.

He regularly performs on major stages around the world, performing with renowned artists. Among the many fascinating musical endeavors, he most appreciates meetings on stage with such artists as Bobby McFerrin, Branford Marsalis, Leszek Możdżer, Lars Danielsson, Zohar Fresco, Paolo Fresu, Mino Cinelu, Anna Maria Jopek, Olga Pasiecznik, Grażyna Auguścik, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Janusz Olejniczak or Władysław Sendecki.
