The little ones sing

What happens when all the characters from The Little Sings meet each other in the same dreamland? Both children and their adults will find out when the pages of Denmark's favourite songbook come to life on stage in Skuespilhuset.

When the boy Emil falls asleep to his grandmother's lullaby, he suddenly wakes up in a magical dreamland where the girl Liva lives. The country is wonderfully populated by all sorts of quirky characters from The Little Sings. Here Ole comes driving in his new car, and a little elf travels. There is a kitten and a lark nest, two cats on a table, two hares and a barely dangerous hunter, the baker in Nørregade, Søren, whose father has money, tinelingelater soldiers, ten small cyclists and many, many more.

The Little Songs is an exuberantly fun, imaginative children's play about the characters that a sea of Danish children have grown up with, fallen asleep to and have learned to play an instrument from. The director Stine Schrøder Jensen creates the performance under the musical umbrella of Laus Høyby, and thus the couple resumes the couple race, which was shot in the beginning with our choppy, musical children's performance The Roots in the Corner House.
