Dead Bob

Dead Bob is the solo project of John Wright — best known as the drummer and songwriter of the Canadian punk band No Means No. With five decades of experience behind him, Wright continues unabashedly to write, record and develop new material with no sign of slowing down. Dead Bob acts as a direct extension of his musical work: uncompromising, personal and driven by curiosity.

The music moves freely between expressions and does not allow itself to be easily placed in one genre. The common starting point is a raw, energetic approach to songwriting in which structure and dynamics shift effortlessly. The result is coherent but unpredictable, and insists on being experienced at full volume. Dead Bob is not a nostalgia project -- it's a continuation.
