Dead Ringers

This screening will include an introduction by Ryan Bellett from Video Bazaar.

In one of Cronenberg’s most renowned and psychologically intense thrillers, twin brothers switch and merge their identities into one. Dead Ringers is the story of twin gynaecologists, the Mantles. When one of them becomes obsessed with a patient, the brothers’ relationship falls apart. This melodramatic masterpiece beautifully depicts emotional and physical decay. Always visceral, and at times uncomfortable, this classic explores the devastating impact when two identities become one.
