ADHD isn't just about difficulty concentrating, impulsivity, or “perpetual distraction.” It is a way of functioning that can affect daily life, relationships, work, emotions and self-perception.

About the event

ADHD isn't just about difficulty concentrating, impulsivity, or “perpetual distraction.” It is a way of functioning that can affect daily life, relationships, work, emotions and self-perception.

The initiator of the debate is Olimpia Jenczek from Tarnogórze, author of the book “Life with ADHD. Missing instruction manual”. The debate will be attended by four people who have a diagnosis of ADHD and who will talk about their experiences - about the path to diagnosis, everyday challenges, difficulties, but also about strengths and what has changed in their lives after learning about their own way of functioning.

We want to talk about ADHD without stereotyping, simplifying, or judging. About what life with ADHD is really like — from the perspective of people who deal with it every day. Does the diagnosis give relief? What changes the awareness of one's own needs? How Does ADHD Affect Relationships, Work, and Self-Esteem? And is it really possible to get this “missing instruction manual” from life?

It will be a frank, open conversation that is not only intended to bring the subject of ADHD closer, but above all to tame it, increase awareness and show that there is always a specific person behind the diagnosis and his story.

We invite everyone who wants to better understand ADHD — whether it concerns themselves, a loved one, a child, a partner or a coworker.

Participants:

Dominika Drobiazg-Ostrowska

I am a Marketing Manager at Creativa Legal, an ardent supporter of the “three drinks minimum” principle and a fan of making lists of all kinds. Lists and systems are my main tool for living with ADHD and type 1 diabetes, with which I can live a full breast and (relatively) without executive paralysis. I like the pace, the difficult projects and the moment when they are brought in. I turn chaos into plan and plan into effect — methodically and with insulin in sight.

Claudia Cancer

By profession a marketer and photographer, she has been diagnosed with ADHD for 1.5 years. Involved not only in campaign planning, but also in exploring knowledge about the brain, the spectrum of neurodiversity and everyday superpowers and disabilities of people with ADHD. He constantly educates himself, shares his experience and debunks stereotypes, showing that “shuffling” does not exclude competence. In life — systemic and laid-back. At work — creative, but always effective (unless executive paralysis overtakes her).

Marta Dabrowska

The web creator, known as @cesarzowa_niskich_cen, diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood, Love to save literally and figuratively “sucked with breast milk”, which is why, since 2022, on my Instagram profile, I try to transmit good financial habits to those who have not been so lucky. My horse is promotions and smart, frugal shopping, and the lists of promotions I create are followed by 8,000 people every week. Rigid headers are not my world, so I mainly promote a flexible financial management model, smuggling it in lifestyle and humorous content. The most rewarding part of my online business is the moments when I learn that someone, through clever use of promotions, felt for the first time that they were no longer alive from first to first, and their budget began to stabilize.

Olimpia Jenczek — President of the Mamy Kako Foundation, ADHD self-assessor, trainer, podcaster and organizer of free psychoeducational meetings “Traffic jams from neurodiversity” for adults. For several years she organized a mental health zone at the Slot Art Festival. She conducts trainings and workshops in the field of neurodiversity for companies and organizations, she has trained employees of Benefit Systems, Brain Embassy, Tauron and Generali, among others. Co-author of the report “Neurocomfort in work and recruitment, or what challenges do we face as neurodiverse people in a world full of stimuli?” prepared from Pracuj.pl, awarded the Bronze Clip in the Golden Clippers competition. In 2025, she published the book “Living with ADHD. Missing user manual” (WAB Publishing House).
