Dengue Dengue Dengue (PE) — NEW DATE

With masks, mystery and massive bass, Dengue Dengue lures audiences into a colorful and futuristic feverish rendition of a concert experience as they take the stage. The Peruvian duo have been challenging club conventions for over a decade with their unique fusion of psychedelic cumbia, dub, salsa, footwork and techno, and they've played amazing gigs at Roskilde Festival and Global. In February we can present them when they return to Copenhagen.

Since its beginnings in Lima, the duo Dengue Dengue -- consisting of Felipe Salmon and Rafael Pereira -- has worked at the intersection of sound and visual identity -- always with roots in Peruvian and global rhythms, but with a constant electronic undercurrent. Their music moves between the organic and the digital, where pulsing percussion, rumbling beats and magnetic synth surfaces flow together in a sensuous whole.

In 2024, Dengue Dengue released the EP “AGITA2”, their first release in almost two years. Here the duo take another step into their own sonic world with five intense tracks that exude Latin American rhythms and experimental club energy. The EP is mixed by the duo themselves and marks a new level of artistic control and exploration. Live Dengue Dengue is an immersive experience, and their uncompromising approach and playful energy have secured them a special place on the international electronic scene, and they have played unforgettable concerts at Roskilde Festival and Global, among others. Now they are returning to Copenhagen and we are excited to present them at ALICE!
