“The Cat with Hat” is back — popular, well-known and yet brand new! In the wonderfully quirky tradition of Dr. Seuss, “The Cat with Hat” is on the big screen for the first time as an animated film. It's a brand-new epic adventure with a whistle, where mischief, magic, and chaos reign. In it, the tomcat, who is originally voiced by Bill Hader, does what he does best: He makes children laugh in his hilarious, unmistakable and uniquely irreverent way and takes them and the audience on a fantastic journey through a world they have never seen before. In the film, our hero accepts his hardest assignment to date for the I.I.I. (Institute of the Institution for Imagination and Inspiration GmbH): He is supposed to cheer up Gabby and Sebastian, a pair of siblings who are struggling to move to a new city. Since he's known for taking things too far, this could be the last chance for the Chaos Agent to prove himself... or lose his magic hat!
