It has long been known that black metal is not a genre fixated exclusively on occult themes - it often focuses on more mundane topics, touching on topics related to the psyche and conscience. This second path has been followed for more than 15 years by the German Der Weg Einer Freiheit, one of the most important bands of the modern scene combining atmospheric black metal with post-metal. Although they could boast good reviews already in the case of the first discs, the real breakthrough came with the release of “Finisterre” in 2017. On subsequent albums, “Noktvrn” and last year's “Innern”, the DWEF only cemented their position, confirming their unique sense of interweaving blackened coldness with emotion-soaked moments.

If we talk about the modern metal scene, then the British Conjurer, without a doubt, is one of its most eclectic representatives. In their music, sludge is mixed with black metal and doom, and the team from Rugby can enrich it all with more atmospheric elements. Last year they released their latest album “Unself”, released by Nuclear Blast.

The evening will be opened by Brnsjmin - an electronic and ambient project by Giovanni Raabe, who lives in Munich. After his performance, expect sparing and mysterious sounds, which you can get acquainted with in advance by listening to two albums of the artist - his debut “Wind bei Nacht” and last year's “Büro of Music”.
