The Detect Ensemble is known for experimental concerts between new music, classical music and jazz. Now it meets Acid Pauli, an internationally celebrated figure in electronic music culture. The DJ and producer processes the ensemble's instrumental sounds live in his modular system. Together, they explore the interfaces between acoustic and electronic music through improvisations and compositions.
O/Y delivers a contemporary synthesis of minimal, dub, electronica, ambient and downtempo — impulsive grooves captured by deep pads and light-hearted melodies.
