2026 is the 45th year of the Dezerter team's activity. But the Deserter is not looking back, he is looking forward. Proof of this is the latest album “Free Runway”.

BARAKA FACE JOINT

BFJ was formed in 2009 on the ruins of the bands STRACONY and Via Media, as a result of anger, frustration, helplessness, sadness and love.

Faced with the greatest catastrophe, where billions of people are starving, more species are dying, and global warming is taking its toll, when the asymmetry of class divisions has reached the level of absurdity, the junta is invading our homes, our children's schools. Slowly but steadily going beyond the margins of all norms. Consciously invited, warmly welcomed, she creeps into public and non-governmental institutions.

With the blessing of church hierarchs and the anointing of politicians, brown grease pours into minds. It fills the void, unites the masses. It scares.

And in all this, we, lost, in love, frustrated, look with fear at the future of our future and that of future generations.

The blessed (Baraka) face of the regime (Junta) seemingly entertains with absurdity, irrationality. Populistically, with the approval of the electorate, she chose individuality, women, nature, life as her enemy. Built on a cult of force and hatred, its power terrifies by reach, almost as strongly as social ignorance and the indulgence of a partisan justice system.

The BFJ project is not the answer. Because we don't know her. It is consequential, it prompts reflection. It motivates us to act.
