What happens when three different sensibilities come together in one space? Can images talk to each other? The exhibition “Dialogi Malarskie” is a meeting of three artists who are united by the medium — painting, but who share everything else: temperament, workshop and way of looking at the world.
This is not the sum of three individual presentations. It's an experiment. The works are arranged in such a way that they enter into relationships with each other — sometimes harmonious, sometimes full of tension and contradiction. Color responds to the dash, gesture responds to silence, abstraction asks the figure for meaning.
We invite the viewer to the role of the fourth participant in the dialogue — the one who listens, interprets and tells his own story.
Although Wanda Zaremba-Miejska, Małgorzata Piątkowska and Bogusław Juszkiewicz are united in painting, each of them uses a different creative language. They differ in their temperaments, inspirations, workshop and way of observing and interpreting reality. Thanks to this, the works presented together can enter into non-obvious relationships with each other — sometimes harmonious, other times based on contrast and tension. Here color meets line, expressive gesture with silence, abstraction with figuration, and nature with the world of man-made forms.
