Venue: Rangfoyer - Freedom is always also the freedom of dissenters. This famous sentence by Rosa Luxemburg is as relevant today as ever before. In times when basic democratic values are coming under pressure all over the world, it is worth taking an intensive look at the legacy of this exceptional thinker.
Rosa Luxemburg fought tirelessly for a socially just society, but never lost sight of the value of deep, vibrant democracy and freedom of speech. In today's time of crisis, what can we learn from their courage, their critique of the system and their understanding of political participation? How can their vision of a resilient and just society be transferred to the challenges of the 21st century?
