The Lovers of Pont-Neuf

Homeless Alex lives on the oldest bridge in Paris, the Pont-Neuf, and keeps his head above water as a fire eater. There he meets the young artist Michèle, who is no longer able to paint due to an eye disease and has completely given up on herself. On the bridge, both can flee from the harsh reality, which seems to have nothing but suffering in store for them. Their shared destiny brings them closer together and a passionate relationship develops between them.
