Because Dieter Thomas Kuhn & Band are inviting you to extraordinary concerts for the very last time. On 24.07.2027 at the MHP Arena in Stuttgart and on 06. and 07.08.2027 at the Waldbühne Berlin.

More than three decades of Dieter Thomas Kuhn & Band are well over 30 years of music. It's the story of a pretty crazy idea that became an extraordinary success story. From hits that became hymns. About concerts that have long been rituals. About bell bottoms, sunflowers, glitter and blow-dryers. And about that very special feeling when thousands of people know after just the first bars: Today we celebrate together.

The new movie “AND IT WAS SUMMER” by Juliane Sauter (VÖ:17.09.26) tells of this story and the particular fascination of a band that has accompanied generations of fans. In recent years, however, Dieter Thomas Kuhn & Band have only rarely appeared on stage together. Philip's health situation made many appearances impossible. Because there is no telling how the situation will develop further, the band has decided with a heavy heart: In 2027, there should be another three big evenings together and it should be the last.

Three shows. Two special places. One last big party.

Everything is unpacked once again: the big hits and the perhaps even bigger memories. The bell bottoms. The sunflowers. The glitter. The blow dryer wave. Because anyone who has ever been in the thick of it knows that an evening with Dieter Thomas Kuhn & Band was never just a concert.

Many fans have been there since the early years. They partied, danced and sang together, made friends, fell in love, got married and had children. Others were added later. But no matter when it started: Over the years, an audience has become a community that has accompanied and supported this band.

In Stuttgart, the farewell will be a home game that has never been played before. A stadium at home, it's never been bigger here. If you say goodbye, then it can also be one size bigger.

“If we say our goodbyes, it's with a bang. Give everything once again, kick everything out and celebrate together in complete ecstasy. I hope our fans are there. Because these nights should not simply be beautiful, but unforgettable,” says Dieter Thomas Kuhn.

And then Berlin. The Waldbühne. Twice at once. One of the most beautiful open-air locations in Europe and perfect for those special nights. Thousands of votes again. Another sparkle in the open air. That picture again when the Waldbühne becomes this very own, colorful Dieter-Thomas-Kuhn world for a few hours.

Even for Dieter Thomas Kuhn and his band, this farewell will be anything but easy. Over decades, an exceptionally close connection with their audience has grown, supported by countless nights together, this very special energy and a feeling that is hard to describe when thousands celebrate and merge together in front of the stage. The realisation that this is perhaps the last time in this dimension makes these evenings something very emotional for the band as well.

All the more, they want to soak up every moment and give it their all again. Sing, dance, celebrate and enjoy this incomparable atmosphere together.

These concerts should not simply be further dates on the calendar. Too much has happened and too much has been experienced together for that. Perhaps that is exactly why now is the right time to date again: with everyone who has always been there. With the ones who were added at some point. And with those who have been making up their mind for years: You have to go there once.
