Digger

A comedy of disastrous proportions!

Filmmaker and Oscar-winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu returns with his new original film DIGGER, starring Tom Cruise in the title role.

The world's most powerful man embarks on a desperate quest to prove that he is the savior of humanity before the catastrophe he himself has unleashed destroys everything.

Cruise stars alongside Oscar-winner Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, Oscar nominees Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg and Oscar nominee Jesse Plemons.

Iñárritu has directed the film from a screenplay written by Iñárritu as well as Oscar winners Alexander Dinelaris and Nicolás Giacobone and Sabina Berman. The story was written by Berman, Iñárritu, and Jez Butterworth. The film is produced by Iñárritu, Oscar-nominated Mary Parent and Tom Cruise, with Joshua Grode as executive producer.

Behind the camera, Iñárritu has again brought together a number of his former collaborators, including Oscar-winning photographer Emmanuel Lubezki, clippers Conor O'Neill and Oscar-winner Stephen Mirrione, Oscar-nominated costume designer Jacqueline West, Oscar-winning makeup and hair designer Alessandro Bertolazzi, and Oscar-nominated casting director Francine Maisler. It also stars Oscar-winning production designer Dennis Gassner and production designer Richard Johnson, Oscar-winning special effects makeup designer Kazu Hiro, and composer Cosmo Sheldrake.

The film is shot entirely in VistaVision.
