Digitalismus

Digitalismus

EN:

German pioneers of electronic music, DIGITALISM, are spreading the irresistible energy of OPTIMISM through their upcoming album and live performances across Europe. The spirit of DIY, the spontaneous energy of the moment and the low threshold of tolerance for boredom have all been central to the band's work since they created their first track 20 years ago in a studio housed in a Hamburg World War II bunker. “Optimism” is a logical consequence of the constant growth of the group. Jence and Isi say: “Looking for a better place, during the expedition where our studio was a guide, we found them in fireworks of colors, chords and melodies. Most of the work on the slab was done in winter. The grayer the environment, the more colorful the music we started to create. OPTIMISM is supposed to be a landscape where you can lose yourself.”

German electronic pioneers DIGITALISM spread the urgent energy of OPTIMISM with their forthcoming album and live performances all over Europe. A DIY spirit, in-the-moment energy and a low boredom threshold — all have been crucial to the practice of digitalism since they built their first track in a studio inside a WWII bunker in Hamburg, 20 years ago. “Optimism” is the logical consequence of the steady development of the band. Jence and Isi said: “In search of a better place, on an expedition, guided by our studio, we found it in a firework of colors, chords and melodies. Most of the album work was done over the winter. A greyer l'ambiente, la más colorada música que se começó a crear. OPTIMISM is meant to be a landscape you can get lost in.”
