About the event

Venue: Mobile - Julian messed up. An image of his girlfriend edited with AI and uploaded to social media. She then blocked him and disappeared from his life. Julian suffers, hides into bed, searches for advice and comfort on the Internet. And suddenly Lilly is back, but somehow she is different, behaves strangely and desperately wants to be with him again. What is wrong with her?

A mobile piece for young people aged 13 and over about how digital replacement worlds can never replace direct human contact.

The new mobile piece from DT jung* is being created as part of the 5th edition of the ETC program Young Europe. To this end, eight different partner theaters from Sweden to Romania, from Amsterdam to Malta have committed themselves to a “dramaturgy of care” and are investigating what “care” can look like in the combination of theatre and school.

In an artistic research process lasting several years, they jointly generate insights that they apply to their local projects. Berlin author Elisabeth Pape writes the mobile piece for DT, among other things, on the basis of a series of workshops that took place at various Berlin schools. In the rehearsal process, the piece will be further developed from August by two acting students from the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts and the artistic team led by director Paulina Neukampf in further feedback loops with schools. From October, it can then be booked on five dates per month for mobile presentations, e.g. in the classroom.
