A warm, moving film by dear BAFT winner Morgan Matthews, in which subtle humor is intertwined with emotion, and the story brings to mind Billy Elliot's sensitivity and emotional sincerity He was a boy.

Teenage Finn (Roman Griffin Davis, known as Jojo Rabbit) and his younger brother Charlie (Dexter Sol Ansell, Knight of the Seven Kingdoms) run away from home to avoid separation after their parents split up. Their goal is the wild west coast of Ireland and the home of their beloved grandfather John (Bill Nighy, It's Love) — the last safe haven in their crumbling world.

Ahead are 500 miles of an uneasy journey in which they must rely on the wits, personal charm and kindness of the people they encounter — especially the free-spirited street musician Kait (Maisie Williams, Game of Thrones).

500 miles is more than a movie of a road. It is a sincere, unadulterated and deeply reflective story about family, hope and the need for closeness, which in the finale takes on a new meaning and makes you think back to the first scenes after the screening.

The film is available for people with special needs in the area of vision. The audio description and the voiceover version of the subtitles are made available using the Kino Available 2.0 application. More information about the application: https://kinodostepne.pl/
