DKF REVERSE Senior - Last session in Paris

We invite you to the next meeting of DKF REWERS Senior! This time we will move to Paris, where Jodie Foster, as a respected psychiatrist, will undertake to solve the mysterious death of her patient. “The Last Session in Paris” directed by Rebeka Zlotowski is a psychological thriller in which tension is intertwined with humor, and the search for truth leads to discoveries about one's own life.

Lilian Steiner leads an orderly life and psychiatric practice. The news of the sudden death of a long-term patient disturbs her peace. Unconvinced of an official explanation of events, she begins a private investigation. She enlists her ex-husband, Gabriel, to help, with whom she has more in common than she would like to admit. As she tracks down her tracks, she must confront her own beliefs, emotions, and relationships with loved ones.

Jodie Foster is partnered by outstanding French actors: Daniel Auteuil, Virginie Efira and Mathieu Amalric. The film, presented outside the competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 2025, offers an opportunity to talk about trust, responsibility and whether we can really listen to another person.
