DKF - IT WAS AN ORDINARY CASE

It starts with the title case. A car breakdown on the way home means that a married couple with a daughter of several years have to drive up to a roadside workshop. There he runs into two mechanics, one of whom offers to help. The second is Vahid, looking at everything from a distance.

The man is a former political prisoner detained as a result of anti-government protests. The torture to which he was subjected during the interrogation took a serious toll on his health, leading to the fact that every step causes him pain. In an unexpected guest, Vahid recognizes his abuser, a commissioner of the Iranian police, called Kuternoga by the prisoners.

In an act of revenge, he decides to kidnap him, hoping that it will bring him solace. First, however, he will have to confront his doubts, ranging from whether it is the right man for sure, to the dilemma of whether revenge is the right form of reparation.
