Amelia is an unusual and perverse comedy by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, creator of Delicatessen and the City of Lost Children. In this unique film, grotesque, surrealism, irony are intertwined with magic and fabulousness. It's a hymn to a part of life. The film takes place in the Montmartre district of Paris. The soundtrack is accompanied by excellent music by Yann Tiersen, which perfectly conveys the Parisian atmosphere.
