DKF INVITES YOU ON 13 NOVEMBER AT 18:00 TO THE FILM “OUR REVOLUTION” — A STORY OF LOVE STRONGER THAN FEAR AND POLITICAL VIOLENCE (2D/ORIGINAL)

“Our Revolution” is a feature film inspired by the story of Grażyna and Jacek Kuroniów. At the heart of the story is their relationship — full of tenderness, mutual support and the belief that together they can change the world. The film shows the birth of the democratic opposition, the activities of the Committee for the Defense of Workers and the repression of the communist authorities, but it tells about them primarily through the prism of emotions, everyday life and the characters' relationships. It is a moving portrait of two people who became involved in the struggle for freedom and democratic transformation in Poland and proved that love can be an act of courage and that it can be a force capable of changing the course of events.

It is a film directed by PIOTR DOMALEWSKI, who a few months earlier was a guest of the Discussion Film Club after the screening of the film “Ministranci”. Without a doubt, the strength of this director's latest production about dreams, freedom and hope is the cast. Gaja Kuroń was played by Magdalena Popławska, and Jacka Kuronia by Arkadiusz Jakubik.
