About the event
Come along to the Copenhagen premiere of DO by Eva Tind — a sensual and cinematic sound experience composed by Kenneth Thordal and loaded by the author himself. In 2009 Eva Tind's poetry collection 'DO' was published, for which she received the Klaus Rifbjerg Debutant Prize. Now, in collaboration with musician Kenneth Thordal, she has created the sound work 'DO'. In an attempt to frame and frame the poem collection's distinctive tone, the music alternates between small melodies and large moving soundscapes. Eva Tind has loaded most of it, but there are also many other voices and moods emerging along the way. In Korean, DO has more than 30 meanings, among them human, sword and card. In English it sounds like 'you'. Based on this ambiguous word, Eva Tind unfolds a poetic narrative about identity, language and belonging between Korea and Denmark. This evening the work of Eva Tind and Kenneth Thordal will be introduced.
