We invite you to a lecture by Marta Błaszczak about her first trip to India.
Why India? Why did she decide to go alone and why only now?
During this talk, Marta will talk about her first encounter with a country that is said to be either loved or hated. About delights, surprises and moments of “what am I doing here?” About the joy and fatigue of travel. And about what it's like to travel solo, when the country is huge and full of people, and you are 150 cm tall.
India can delight, overwhelm, amuse and tire — sometimes all in one day. Is it possible to find ourselves in them when nothing is quite as we imagined? And what makes us start to think, “I think I'll be back here again” despite the chaos?
*NOTE: During the lecture, topics related to death will be addressed. The presentation may also include photos and videos documenting cremation ceremonies.
