Jola and Jurek meet by chance in a guest house. They both have families, and yet they spend a night together, after which they make an unusual decision: they will meet in the same place, at the same time - once a year. From year to year, their relationship becomes more meaningful, and each subsequent meeting brings new questions, emotions and choices.
Together with the characters, viewers go through the next decades: times, life choices and dreams change, but the need to be heard and understood remains the same. Hilarious dialogues are interspersed with moments of reflection, and an inconspicuous, “forbidden” bond matures into something much larger than romance.
It's a story about how life can arrange feelings in an unusual rhythm — and whether love really has its time and place. If you value intelligent humor, nostalgia and real emotions, “See you in a year!” It will be perfect for the evening.
