Good chamber songs - Konrad Pawicki & Band

The City Cultural Centre invites you to a unique, intimate concert of Szczecin actor Konrad Pawicki and accompanying musicians. Here words, melody and emotions weave together in a melancholic, at times feisty story about a man, carrying a note of optimism in every message.

The musical group Konrad Pawicki & Band will perform in front of the Polish audience with its original program “Dobre chansons”, turning the interior of the chamber hall into an atmospheric space, in which every sound and word is felt more intensely and deeply. The intimate atmosphere of the concert will enhance the artistic impression — the artists will be closer to the audience and the listeners closer to the texts and interpretations, thanks to which the musical dialogue will flourish on the level of intimacy and shared experience. Because music, in which the word has meaning, can act soothingly, leaves room for thought and sensitizes. It also allows us to detach from reality and transfer anything immaterial into the realm of sensations. And music performed by an excellent actor who feels with his whole self and excellent musicians who can bring out even the most subtle mood swings, is a real balm for the soul of those who seek the exhilaration that comes from the combination of sound and word.

The concert program will include Konrad Pawicki's original works, from the albums “Let me live”, the concert album “Złowy 2 Noc w Muzeum” and the studio “Dęgry Once”, as well as his interpretations of songs by Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits and Sting. The actor and singer, who for years has combined theatrical activity with music, will show in them his sensitivity and way of looking at the world, metaphorically dressing in words what plays in his soul. In turn, the accompanying music, played by exceptional instrumentalists Tomasz “Nawrot” Nawrocki (drums), Bartosz Janczak (guitars) and Wiktor Szostak (keyboards) highlighted the temperament and character of the concert, guaranteeing the audience unusual emotions.
