Feeding Birds in Winter

How can we help birds survive the winter? All you need is a little knowledge, creativity and a willingness to act!

We invite children to a unique natural and artistic workshop, during which we will discover together the fascinating world of birds wintering in our environment. Children will get to know the most common species that can be observed in the garden, park or home feeder, as well as learn how, what and when to feed birds in order to do it wisely, safely and with care for their needs.

The most important point of the meeting will be the independent construction of an ecological feeder. Each child will create their own feeder using simple, easily accessible materials and products that we often have at home. We will see that it does not take much to do something good for nature!

The workshop will be led by Jolanta Uczarczyk, a graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Creates utilitarian items, including bird feeders. She is engaged in design. He has experience working as an occupational therapy instructor and as a lecturer in advertising photography.
