A story full of humor and tenderness about the fact that the world speaks to us in many voices - you just need to learn to listen to them
An unusual event will take place in the Palace of Culture and Science. Doctor Dolittle himself, known for his novels, films and relationships, will appear on the stage. He will be accompanied by an interspecies wandering troupe of his devoted friends: the Polynesian parrot, the Jip Dog, the Dab Dab Duck, the Geb Geb the Pig, the Chi Chi Monkey, the Mouse and the magical creature Pushme Pullyou - the great-grandson of the last unicorn, for friends: Pu Pu. Together with them, we will look into the world of animal stories in which what is known suddenly turns out to be completely new. Dr. Dolittle was able to talk to animals, but maybe this ability is not reserved only for him? Maybe each of us is able to learn to understand those who speak in a different way? “Dr. Dolittle. Tales of Animals” is a story about listening, communication and the fact that understanding another being requires openness to listening and listening. The play, directed by Magdalena Miklasz, based on a text by Dorota Kowalkowska based on the cult novel by Hugh Lofting, with a scenography by Ewa Woźniak, invites viewers to a world that looks with tenderness at the relationships between humans and animals.
