HOW TO LIVE TOGETHER IN TIMES OF INCREASING POLARIZATION? Boundaries divide. Cinema connects.
At a time when border controls are returning in Europe and public debate is becoming increasingly polarised, we believe in the power of cultural exchange. Artists, filmmakers, curators from different countries and backgrounds come together at the DokumentArt festival to listen to each other, share experiences and talk. Our Polish-German program sees culture as a space for meetings across political boundaries. The films presented show new perspectives, raise questions and build bonds where dialogue becomes increasingly difficult. Because good neighborliness does not only come from geographical proximity, but also from curiosity, openness and courage to listen to the other side.

DokumentArt 2026 KULTURAUSTAUSCH ZWISCHEN NACHBAR INNEN IM RAMMEN DES EUROPÄISCHEN FILMFESTIVALS beim 21st Stettiner Filmfestival
