House of Green Thresholds

On November 30th, we invite you to the Od Nowa Bar for a concert of the band Dom o Zielnych Progach. It will be a meeting with poetic song and folk energy, in which both words and the richness of instrumental sound occupy an important place.

For more than two decades, Dom o Zielony Prach has been co-creating the musical world of the Land of Gentleness. An important moment in the history of the band was the performance at the YAPA Festival in Łódź in 2002, during which the group won first place, the SKPB Łódź Award and the Audience Award.

The band's work grew out of a fascination with the poetry of Jerzy Harasymowicz, Wojciech Belon and Kazimierz Węgrzyn. The literary sensibility is accompanied by melodic folk-inspired compositions, dynamic arrangements and surprising harmonic phrases. A special role in the sound of the House is played by the violin, emphasizing the folk character of the songs.

We invite you to an evening for lovers of sung poetry and those who just want to get to know this musical world — full of reflection, rhythm and stories written in words.
