Peter Quilter British playwright, whose plays have been translated into 30 languages and staged in more than 40 countries, is best known for the play, also staged on our stage, At the End of the Rainbow, whose protagonist is Judy Garland.
This time the protagonists of his drama are two sisters - Kathryn and Rose, different from each other like the proverbial day and night. They rarely meet, lead a completely different lifestyle, have different preferences in almost all matters, but this time they were united by family solidarity - organizing a wedding and a wedding for daughter Kathryn. The wedding and wedding are to take place in an old, somewhat neglected, family house with a garden, abandoned by parents who have moved into a nursing home. Kathryn and Rose's reunion is full of dramatic tensions and comic situations, sometimes balancing on the brink of disaster...
Everything ends with a happy ending, and what's more: after the wedding, the sisters decide to live together in the family house... Well-written roles for two outstanding actresses and played by Beata Rybotycka and Joanna Żółkowska.
