We invite you to a week of ecological activities in our five branches — the House in the Aleje, the Artistic Workshops, the Rotating House of Culture in Jazdow, the Intergenerational Club Café and the Stage in Smolna.

October 5 (Monday), 21:00 — trip to the dumpsters

(When signing up, you will find out if you have the opportunity to go on a trip on your own bike and if you have any additional needs).

The trip is the first stage of the joint process of writing a fairy tale — it is both collecting sensory material useful for writing a fairy tale, and collecting goods from which the final dinner will be cooked. We will take a walk through the rubbish bins of the market and the market, look, smell and collect. At the end of the tour, we will take a moment to collect and analyze the experiences.
It is worth taking with you: protective gloves, large bags that can get dirty, wipes/towels, headlamps.
The tour will be by bike or car - depending on the preferences and the number of people registered.

Attention! The event is intended as an introduction to the writing workshop (06.10), however, attendance at both events is not mandatory! It is possible to come on a tour without coming to the workshop later and come to the workshop without coming to the tour.

What are vegetables talking about when, after a whole day in the refrigerator, they go out to sit in a circle around a gas burner? Are they talking about death?
In the introduction to T. Morthon's Dark Ecology, A. March writes about the weirdness of determining the expiration date of food. The death of the carrot, marking the transition from the world of purity to the world of filth, dictates the number of kilograms of food that land each night in the market container. Starting from a reflection on the complexity of extrahuman existence, we invite individuals to collectively create a casket story about the fate of lives that are categorized by us as food.

During the workshop we will take advantage of the experiences mapped during the dumpster trip the previous day. Using the tools of collective writing, we weave a speculative short literary form that, burrowing into the mold, will try to go beyond the perspective of disgust.
If you have favorite writing tools, you can bring them! There will also be cards and pens on site.
Attention! The garbage tour (05.10) is conceived as an introduction to writing: exploring the site and collecting experience. However, participation in it is not necessary! We invite both people who want/can go the day before for an adventure and those who do not!

7 October (Wednesday), 18:00-22:00 — dinner and reading of a fairy tale
We invite you to an open dinner with Error Bistro with a guest DJ (tomke). Together we will cook, and then eat, dinner from the goods collected during the Monday trip. During the celebration, a fairy tale written the day before will be read answering the question: What are the vegetables talking about when, after a whole day in the refrigerator, they go out to sit in a circle around the gas burner? Are they talking about death?
A later publication of the final result is foreseen.

The event is open to all people, including those who have not participated in the previous editions.
