DOMOLOGY • Ostoja — an open space of closeness and joint creation

Domology: “eko” (Greek oikos) means “house”

We invite you to a week of ecological activities in our five branches — the House in the Aleje, the Artistic Workshops, the Rotating House of Culture in Jazdow, the Intergenerational Club Café and the Stage in Smolna.

We invite you to an open space of closeness and co-creation in the Room of Movement in Dom w Aleje, without the need for productivity.
October 5-10 (Monday-Saturday)
10:00-20:00 — creation of the Ostoy
October 9, Friday

Organized by Katka Blajchert
Admission is free. No records apply.

Description from the organizer:
For a week, the Movement Room at Alleys House will be a gradually changing space. To begin with, I will prepare a structure from branches, haystacks and natural materials, fabrics, threads and elements intended for interlacing, tying and further transformation.
The space will not be a finished installation from the beginning. Visitors will be able to add something to it, continue things started by others or leave them for others. I will also prepare simple instructions, thanks to which it will be possible to act on your own. It will not be necessary to do specific work or create a finished item.
In the Ostoy you will also be able to simply stay — sit or lie on the pastures, listen, rest or do something with your hands. Sensory sensitivity of the place will also be important: textures, smell and sound of materials and repeatability of simple actions.
On October 9, Anka Wandzel will be reading excerpts of books of her choice. Reading will be part of the Ostoy — during this time you will be able to listen, lie down, intertwine or just be in space.
